When I sat down to create BREATHE, I instantly knew that I had something special on my hands. A quick demonstration of the power of the Unreal Engine; highlighting specifically the quality that could easily be turned out in a short 32-hour period. Since the short timeframe wasn’t enough of a challenge, I decided to step out of my comfort zone (C++) and utilize blueprints only for BREATHE.

The original purpose of BREATHE was to reveal the theme to PTBO Game Jam 04 in a unique and innovative way. It was overwhelmingly well received by the jammers, but the normal Steam trolls didn’t seem to get the point of it when we dropped it on Steam for distribution (>100k downloads).
